Return of Paintball Aust. Network website

After nearly a 12 month wait, the PAun website has finally returned. It has been totally restored from the hacking attack and will be bigger than ever.

This is only the first stage release. There will be a second stage release that will feature the new much anticipated and secret features. A third and fourth release are on the drawing board. Each release is aiming to advance the Paintball Industry internationally.

PAN website now faster than ever!

As many have noticed the PAN website is now much faster and more efficient. The website has been transferred from an overseas hosting system to one within Australia.

This change has made way for much greater capability and reliability.

Paintball Australia Network Branded

Paintball Australia Network, otherwise known as PAN or PaintballAustralia.Net is now officially Australiaâ��s first registered and dedicated paintball sports promotion brand name.

We are currently in discussion with various corporate and leading industry brands (outside the paintball industry) in establishing partnerships and sponsorships channels for the many Paintball initiatives that exist on the Australian scene.

We encourage industry members as well as those outside the industry to register their interest and provide feedback.

AXL Round 4 Date and Location Moved to Paintball Pete's Mt White

After the disruptions surrounding this years AXL round 3, the decision was made to move the 4th round forward to October 14 and 15, 2006.

Please note that the 4th round will also be moved to Paintball Pete's (Mt White) on the weekend of October 14th and 15th.

Update to NSW Firearms Regulation 2006

The new (NSW) Firearms Regulation 2006 now permits (as we understand it) greater flexibility for interstate Paintball Players visiting NSW.

NSW to Permit Interstate Licensing

As you may have read, the AXL round 3 has been cancelled because NSW firearms do not recognise interstate licences. This means that all players holding a non-NSW permit cannot use their markers on a NSW field.

After talking with, and submitting written requests to firearms last week, Dianne from the AXL/MacDev has been granted a promise of legislation change later this year which will recognise interstate licences here in NSW. NSW firearms have contacted Dianne and MacDev to confirm that the legislation change is as a direct result of the submissions by MacDev.

There is a 90% chance that this will be passed later this year and all NSW tournaments will be freely run with any vistors. Please note that all current laws are in force until this is signed off by the Governor.
